Tim Etherington-Judge, aka BartenderForHire, has established himself as one of NZ’s leading bartenders and bar managers. Since arriving in New Zealand two years ago, he has proven himself on professional as well as competition stages; managing Auckland’s leading bar, Suite, as well as picking up numerous awards in national competitions.

Whilst leading the countries number 1 bar team, Tim has been responsible for coordinating and executing highly successful functions for companies as diverse as Louis Vuitton, DDB, Moet Hennessy, APN, Vodafone and The Warehouse. He has also managed the organisation of bespoke events for birthday celebrations, parties and hen’s nights.

During his year long tenure at Suite, the bar had it’s most successful period and established itself as Aucklands only internationally recognised bar by picking up the following awards:

Tim is also the cocktail feature writer for Remix Magazine as well as being a contributor to Cuisine and NZBartender magazines. Training is also another field that Tim is extremely passionate about.
He has been involved in education seminars for organisations as diverse as The New Zealand Institute for Food Science & Technology (one of New Zealand’s leading hospitality training providers) and the Aficionados Society (a group of wealthy Auckland based bon vivants who seek to form a broader base of knowledge about the finer things in life).
