Dj Motiv
With a long standing history in DJing, including 10 years working in commercial radio and just as long working in some of NZs most popular nightclubs, you can't go far wrong having me providing entertainment for your event.

Having worked in radio for so long, I have a broad knowledge and personal collection of music. Whatever your event, I can assure you that your needs take pride and place. BUT, you also have the benefit of having an experienced dance party and nightclub DJ who can read a crowd well enough to ensure your party is jumpin from go to woah.

From old soul classics, disco, funk and reggae to more uptempo and modernised hiphop, R&B, drum n bass, top 40 and trip hop. My music range spans 3-4 decades and includes a few personally remixed NZ songs.

Whilst I specialise in these genres I also have a wide range of music that includes rock and country - check out my samples to hear for yourself. So whatever the event or style of music you're after, chances are I can cater to meet your needs and make your event special.

Over 19 years of experience in the mobile entertainment industry has taught me great parties don't just happen, they are the result of careful planning from the first to the last detail.

All DJ's are not created equal.

With communication, integrity and high energy, I will give you and your guests a fantastic night to remember.

My equipment is set up on custom-made stands to ensure a neat appearance with no unsightly wires. In most cases this is done in the afternoon prior to your guests arriving.

I will be your DJ on the night and I'll be able to make any announcements or presentations you may need at your function.

Dunc can play anything from a hard Funk and Soul club night through to a wedding or a corporate event. Dunc has over 10 years DJing experience and has access to top of the line DJ equipment.

Musical Cheers
With more than twelve years working dj experience you can be assured of a professional and fun dj show tailored to your requirements.

We play all types of music and include a list of our most requested tracks. This is not all the music available - please just let me know if there are others I should bring. There will also be copies of the playlist available on the night to assist guests with choosing requests.

For most indoor venues up to 100 guests we recommend the 4000 Watt Sound System which includes Wharfedale Pro 15" drivers and powered subwoofer. For larger or outdoor events we own more than 10,000 Watts of Sound System and will tailor a package to suit your event and chosen venue.

The spectacular Intelligent Lighting display comes from Martin Acrobats, Scanners, Chauvet Floods, 1500 Watt Strobe, Hazer, Laser Lightshow, and the large mirrorball, all controlled by a notebook pc DMX512 Lighting Controller giving us full control over the lighting mood at all times.

I love what I do and take pride in providing a reliable and professional entertainment service. I personally perform at every occasion and welcome any specific requirements including speeches, first dances, requests, non-explicit lyrics, announcements, etc.

Too Many She-Jays
We know our music but we also know how to rock the party. We play soul, funk, disco, latin and party hits from the decades of your choice. From corporate christmas parties to nightclubs and special events, we have played them all. We work with vinyl and cds, not from a computer, and we are always an enthusiastic presence at your party. We will cater our music selection to your requirements.

We have played at the Matterhorn, the San Francisco Bathhouse, Havana, Ernestos, Red Square & Mighty Mighty, as well as events including the Wellington Fringe Festival, the Wellington International Film Festival after party, the Gibson Group christmas party, the World of Wearable Arts afterparty, the Krafthaus midyear party, the New Dowse Gallery Opening, and dozens of other private and corporate parties.
