I believe in providing a nurturing, caring, supportive and safe
learning environment for the children in my care, where everyone can
grow and develop together while feeling safe, secure and happy. I place
great importance on listening to, understanding and responding to the
needs and wants of each individual child in my care. I believe in being
open and honest and in having fun while enjoying one another’s company,
our learning activities and environment. I also place importance on the
relationships I have with the parents of the children in my care and often
work together with them with regards to the children’s development and
care.
I have worked with children and studied child development since high
school and have always had a passion for. I have worked as a nanny,
swim teacher, gym teacher, Holiday program coordinator, youth leader
and currently as a home based educator. I have a 15mth old daughter
who loves people and is a very friendly happy little girl.
I have a fantastic learning environment available for the children in my
care, providing fun, interactive safe, educational enjoyment for all the
children. I provide a large range of resources

in my care participate in a number of activities and I provide a variety of
fun educational resources to challenge the children
to explore and grow. We also regularly attend music groups, swimming,
and playgroups and planned outings through Home Grown Kids just to
name a few. Each child has their own individual learning journal that
shows their developmental progress throughout their time here.
