Cake Pan Hire Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Payment

* Full payment of the hire fee and refundable security bond is required at the time of booking.
* Hire bookings are confirmed only once payment has been received.
* Hire fees are non-refundable if the booking is cancelled within 48 hours of the collection date.

2. Hire Period

* The standard hire period is **1 days** unless otherwise agreed.
* The hire period begins on the day the pans are collected and ends when they are returned to us.
* Late returns may incur an additional hire charge.

3. Security Bond

* A refundable security bond is payable for each hire.
* The bond will be refunded once the cake pan has been returned on time, clean, and in the same condition it was hired.
* If the pan is returned damaged, excessively dirty, or not returned, part or all of the bond may be retained.

4. Collection & Returns

* Cake pans must be collected and returned during our normal trading hours.
* The hirer is responsible for checking the cake pan before leaving the store.
* Please notify us immediately if there are any issues.

5. Cleaning

* Please wash the cake pan in warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly before returning.
* Do not place aluminium cake pans in a dishwasher unless specifically advised.
* A cleaning fee may apply if the pan is returned dirty.

6. Care of Equipment

The hirer agrees to:

* Use the cake pan only for its intended purpose.
* Avoid using knives or sharp utensils that may scratch the surface.
* Not modify, drill, bend, or alter the cake pan in any way.
* Not lend or sub-hire the cake pan to another person.

7. Damage or Loss

* The hirer accepts responsibility for the cake pan while it is in their possession.
* Lost, stolen, or irreparably damaged cake pans will be charged at the full replacement cost.
* Minor wear from normal use is expected and will not incur charges.

8. Late Returns

* If the cake pan is returned after the agreed return date, additional hire charges may apply.
* If another customer has booked the same pan, the hirer may also be liable for any reasonable costs incurred due to the late return.

9. Availability

* While every effort is made to supply the requested cake pan, we reserve the right to substitute a similar pan if necessary.
* If no suitable replacement is available, a full refund of the hire fee will be provided.

10. Liability

* Cake pans are hired in good condition.
* The hirer is responsible for ensuring the pan is suitable for their intended use.
* We accept no responsibility for baking results, damage to cakes, or any loss arising from the use of the hired equipment.

11. Cancellation Policy

* Cancellations made more than 48 hours before collection will receive a refund of the hire fee.
* Cancellations within 48 hours may forfeit the hire fee.
* Security bonds will be refunded if the hire has not commenced.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By hiring a cake pan, the customer acknowledges they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
